Carrie Ford Hilliker / Creative Director
A Chicago native, Carrie had the opportunity to work as one of the first Interactive Art Directors at Brann Worldwide in 1999. While in Chicago, she also spent time at DDB and Microsoft Sidewalk. In 2001, she headed west to Los Angeles. After a short stint at Hamilton Gray Photography, she was hired as Creative Director by Tribune Media in Santa Monica. After three years with Tribune, she started ford/visuals and has since worked with companies like Disney, the Ultimate Blackjack Tour and Emergent Game Technologies, among others.
Carrie's formal education is in documentary photography and liberal arts. She received a BA in Photojournalism from Marquette University in 1997. She brings her photography skills to many of ford/visuals' projects, like the nine-city concert tour she shot for Honda and Filter Magazine in 2006. She and her husband David Flick divide their time between Los Angeles, the Arizona desert, Chicago and a few towns in between. carriefordhilliker.com
